    Sport, recreation and tourism are developing dynamically. Apart from the Recreation Centre in Konin (now being extended), situated on the lake, there is another one, under construction along with the complex of bungalows in Linie.

    In order to serve tourist movement we have constructed two hotels with restaurants: the HALJAN and the POGOŃ Hotel along with the sports and recreation centre.

    One of the greatest tourist and economic attractions of our region is magnificent Bolesław Popi on Reserve on Zgierzynieckie Lake with the unusual abundance of ornitho-fauna and flora. The reserve along with its surrounding covers the area of over 400 ha. In the neighborhood there is Stud Posadowo where sports and breeding horse races are bred. In Posadowo there is also the pearl of architecture – the palace – and park complex, erected in French manner, with its history going back to the 18th c.

    The other places worth visiting are: the parish church in Lwówek from the 15th c., the St. Cross Church from the 13th c. in the cemetery in Lwówek, the wooden parish church in Brody, dating from 1673, the palace-and-park complexes in Pakosław, Brody, Lwówek and Konin.
